Lovecraft's Nightmare

“We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far.”

H.P.  Lovecraft : The Call of Cthulhu

In the Pacific ocean, far from any humanity, lays the sunken city of Ry'leh
Where the temples are made of stone, carved in aliens forms
The city abandoned for millennia, a dark aquarium covers the area
How many have passed over, without knowing
The darkness that smothers, the silent evil growing

City of stone beneath the waves
Rise the sunken home of nightmares
Wake oh great Cthulhu
None may speak your name
Without deepest despair
Rise, your children sacrifice anew
Great Cthulhu renew now your reign

I have written two works dealing with the Mythos of Cthulhu, and have more in the works.
